TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Belvoir Equine Veterinary Dental Services Ltd aims to provide high quality care for your Equine at a competitive price. For this reason we have provided below the information that you should be aware of before choosing us as your Veterinary Practice. When you request our services you and we are bound by the Terms and Conditions outlined in this document.
1. Invoicing and Payment Terms:
- Clients are expected to settle invoices within 7 days of receipt, and all charges include applicable VAT.
- New clients are required to make payments at the time of service until their reliability as payers is established.
- The practice reserves the right to request payment from existing clients at the time of the visit if, at its discretion, it deems it necessary.
- Insurance claims forms and veterinary reports will be subject to a surcharge.
- A deposit may be requested for significant veterinary treatments.
- In the case of outstanding accounts, a notice of no further treatment will be served to the animal, and further actions may be pursued.
- Written estimates remain valid for 14 days and are not definitive, serving as a guide.
- Payments overdue by 30 days are subject to a weekly increase of 10%.
- Referral to a debt collector agency occurs a 15% fee
2. Patient Passports and Human Consumption:
- All patients are required to have passports, and these must be signed out of intended use for human consumption.
- If a passport is presented unsigned, the practice reserves the right to mark the horse as not intended for human consumption.
- If the passport is not immediately available, a record will be kept, and presentation of passport is expected at the next visit.
3. Data and Records:
- All records and images obtained during investigation and treatment may be utilized for educational, publication, or presentation purposes without accompanying identifying information.
4. Confidentiality:
- Clients are obligated under GDPR regulations not to disclose any details obtained from the practice.
- Belvoir Equine Veterinary Dental Services Ltd is committed to maintaining the utmost confidentiality of our clients' information. We assure you that all client data, including personal and veterinary details, will be treated with the highest level of privacy and security.
- Under no circumstances will Belvoir Equine Veterinary Dental Services Ltd disclose or pass on any client information to third parties without explicit and written permission from the respective client. This commitment extends to safeguarding your trust and ensuring that your sensitive information remains confidential.
5. Feedback and Complaints:
- All constructive feedback, of a positive or negative nature, is welcomed and can either be addressed to the veterinary surgeon at the visit or can be submitted in writing via email.
- Any financial queries or complaints must be submitted via email (practicemanager@belvoirequinevets.co.uk) or letter to the Practice Manager within 7 days of receiving the invoice.
6. Emergency Cover:
- The practice provides 24/7 emergency and out-of-hours services, including all bank holidays.
- Both emergency and out-of-hours services are subject to additional surcharges.
7. Cancellations:
- Any cancellations are subject to a cancellation charge.
